Hello and welcome back to the blog.
I just thought I’d share a little more about myself today and tell you what a typical day in my life is like.
My day starts at 6:30 AM when I wake up, shower and get ready for the day ahead ie. work.
The first thing I do when I wake up is pray then I open my windows and let the fresh morning air in. I then shower, get dressed and make the bed (I might throw a load of laundry into the machine) .
I then pack my laptop into my backpack and grab my handbag and head to the kitchen where I’ll pack my food for the day and head out the door.
I leave just before 7.30AM and spend about 20 to 30 minutes (it varies day to day, sometimes traffic is ridiculous because there’s an accident) driving to work while jamming to some music on Spotify. It’s makes the morning commute more fun and entertaining, occasionally I’ll sing along.
I get to work and open all the office windows and turn the kettle on. I can’t start my day without a cup of coffee. FYI, I’m often the first person to get to the office.
Lunch time I eat my lunch and read a book or do schoolwork then work until I knock off at 4.30pm.
Depending on how busy the office is, I do some schoolwork during the day or listen to podcasts.
At 4.30 PM I knock off and on a good month, I’ll head to the gym to work out for about an hour. The gym is about 20 minutes away from the office. (If I didn’t drive to the gym after work, I work out at home).
Afterwards, I drive home and sit in traffic yet again.
I get home around 6/7 and unpack my gym bags.
I’ll typically then get onto my laptop and do some blogging while I wind down and catch up on a Netflix series. Somewhere in between supper is prepared and eaten.
Then it’s time for some schoolwork. I’ll make a cup of coffee, retire to the study, open my laptop and books and proceed to do some schoolwork. There’s usually some classical music or a Spotify study playlist playing in the background. I typically close the books at around 11 PM on a good night.
Before retiring to my room I’ll go and wash my face and brush my teeth.
After crawling into bed, I read the Bible from my Bible app and pray, followed by some journaling and planning for the following day.
I like to read in bed before I call it a night or I’ll continue watching a series if my concentration levels are poor.
That’s typically what my weekdays are like. They need more excitement, don’t they?
