It’s recommended that we do at least 150 minutes of exercise a week. By doing more, you can significantly reduce your risk of illness and disease.
The number 150 may seem like a lot when you look at it BUT, if you break it up, it’s just over 20 minutes of exercise every day.
I enjoy working out. It’s a great way to relieve stress and get into shape.
Here are a few home workouts or exercises I’ve been enjoying lately:
Juice & Toya
Juice and Toya have a YouTube channel with many fun, challenging and easy-to-follow workout routines. Whether you’re looking for a quick 10-minute session or something a little longer, you’ll find what you’re looking for.
I enjoy the music they use in their videos and just thoroughly enjoy seeing a couple getting fit and healthy together.

Skipping
I enjoy skipping because you can do it anytime and practically anymore. It’s also a calorie torcher.
I’ve recently been inspired by Connie Ferguson’s skipping videos and Instagram. They’re so cool and inspiring.
Step
Remember that time I told you I bailed on step class because I couldn’t keep up?
I went back bitches and this time I stayed the entire class, blunders and all. When I stopped taking myself too seriously and continued even though I was messing up, I ended up having fun and actually finished the class.
Nobody actually cares what another is doing at the gym, we’re all there to achieve our own personal goals so no one even notices whether you’re killing it or not.
Highly recommend giving step a try!
Hoola Hoop
There are so many fun games and activities we used to do as kids that are actually great exercises.
I recently got myself a Hoola Hoop just as a fun way to exercise while having a bit of kiddie fun. We used to hoola hoops so much as kids and that, like many games we played as kids, was something I just grew out of. I figured maybe I’d add some hoola-hooping into my workout routine just to switch things up a little.
Did you know that you can burn up to 165 calories from 30 minutes of hooping?
Hadn’t done this in a while so admittedly, I’m not very good at it but practice makes perfect, right?
These are the exercises I’ve been enjoying lately. I highly recommend that you give them a try.
Which exercises have you been enjoying? Share them with us in the comments and maybe we can give them a try.

I’ve been following Susana Yabar on YouTube and been doing her workouts. Her workouts are good, simple, and easy to follow. It also makes me sweat a lot.
I’ll check them out.
