Juggling All These Roles

Sometimes I feel like there just aren’t enough hours in the day. I want to do so much and it’s challenging.

There are also multiple people to please, myself included, and it requires constant sacrifice.

I don’t even have kids and jeepers this is exhausting.

I want to be good at balancing everything but how does one do that?

I want to be a good blogger, friend, sister, daughter, social media manager, student, daughter, employee and still be good to myself and have enough time to breathe in between.

I haven’t been to the gym in a while and it started because I had so much to do at work. I ended up working Monday to Sunday at the office and didn’t do everything I was supposed to do.

I’m exhausted.

There’s a half written blog post that I started last week still waiting to be completed and edited and a one I need to start from scratch. I wish I had more time to blog. No, I need to make more time to blog because it actually brings me joy.

I recently attended a seminar held by UNISA to help me with all this because at times it can feel a bout much. It’s easy to start feeling overwhelmed.

I picked up quite a few helpful and implementable tips to help me out, some of which I had implemented and mentioned in my post “How To Balance Studies & A Full Time Job”.

Truth be told, there are times when I’m not pulling my weight in certain rolls because I do get tired and it does feel like too much.

I’m trying to be a gardener, to be a good friend, a good sister, a good daughter and a good employee on top of all the things I mentioned at the beginning of this post. Oh, and I still need to stay in shape and make time to relax so that I don’t burnout.

Sometimes I find myself wondering where the heck the time went.

I love long weekends, they’re a great opportunity to catch up on some work or to get some much needed rest.

To the people who are moms as well, how do you do it? You guys truly are superheroes.

  1. I can definitely relate to your post. It can be challenging juggling all your roles, and you can feel like you’re not doing enough. I had to balance being a mother as well as being student on top of a blogger and more, and it was a challenge, but I managed to do it.
