Hello.
The first half of this year is done and dusted. How did it go?
I hope you’re well on your way to achieving all that you set out for this year. If you aren’t, that’s okay too.
Now that we’re a month into the second half of this year, I’m realizing just how fast time is passing by. I think I’ve done quite a lot and now it’s time to check- in on just how much I’ve done when it comes to the goals I’d set out.
Sidenote, a course I did said we should write first and edit later though I often find myself editing as I write because the lines from Grammarly start to grate my tits lol. Anyway, back to the matter at hand before I go completely off topic.
There has been a huge shift towards positivity this year and I feel better about life and myself, in general, ever since I started going to church. I feel like my goals are within my reach and I have everything that I need to achieve them. Who else is feeling like they can kick ass right now?
Since my initial goal post, I discovered a snippet from Steve Harvey speaking about how we should write down everything that we want from God and review it after a year or so. The list is supposed to contain about 300 items but I got stuck at two hundred and something and I keep adding to it every time I think up something. I’m supposed to look at it again same time next year and cross off everything that’s come true next year and add more.
The list is supposed to be viewed often so you don’t lose sight of what you’re working towards and so far I think I’m doing okay.
I am on track at school, just waiting for the final first semester results which I haven’t received because I owe fees but I know I passed. This academic year is going well so far, just one little bump but nothing that’ll hinder my goals.
In June, I went to Cape Town and got to go on the city bus tour, it wasn’t in the post about my hopes for the year but it was on my “bucket list”. I have so many lists of things in different locations hahaha.
It’s not too late to get a move on with your own goals for the year. There are still 6 months left for us to make things happen and that’s plenty of time. If you start whatever it is you want to do today, you’ll be surprised by how much you can achieve and the progress you’ll make by year’s end.
