Cape Town Journal: Entry #10

July 25th, 2021

Went for a walk this morning and I can feel my waist now lol. I enjoyed it though. My sister and I have decided we’re going to do this daily and go a little further each day.

My knee doesn’t hurt so that’s awesome!

I should do more walking than other forms of exercise even though what I really enjoy is jumping up and down.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention, today is the first time I have walked past the statue of the glasses and there was nobody chilling on it so I FINALLY got my photo! I just wanted a photo of the glasses just chilling there looking cool by their lonesome.

I’m feeling like I can conquer the world after that walk. Now I really get why people wake up early and exercise, it just feels really good and sets a positive tone for your day. I’m not a morning person but I really want to be…

I just noticed my legs are ashy as hell. I’m sure nobody noticed that hahaha.

The weather is actually lovely today, not hot but not too cold either. I’m sitting on the balcony sipping on some tea and working on some blog posts while simultaneously uploading my updated CV to all the job sites I’m registered to.

I actually ended up spending a large portion of my day sitting on the balcony, editing blog posts. I’ve decided to do a little formatting after reading blogging tips, to make these posts more readable and I’m going back to some of my earlier work to make the site look more uniform. Hope you’re seeing the difference (well not in these journal posts).

I love blogging but if I’m being honest, I could do with a little less screen time. Feels like I spend 80% of my life staring at some form of electronic device lately, it’s bad!

Just waiting for my sister to finish what she’s doing so we can resume watching Defending Jacob.

I think this mornings work was more effective than I initially thought.

I’m actually tired and so are my butt muscles lol.

Signing out for the day after the scheduled regular content drops.

P.S I took the cover photo for this post.
