Cape Town Journal: Entry #15

August 10th, 2021

Yesterday for the first time ever I went to a Chinese restaurant and tried to eat sushi with chopsticks. What a wow! Sushi breakfasts should be a thing I tell you.

I have terrible coordination. I kinda got it in the end. Dropped the sushi into the soy sauce bowl and splattered it on my clothes. OMG… it is now my mission to master how to eat with chopsticks!

Cape Town is going quite well, aside from the fact that I haven’t found a job yet; which is what I actually came here for.
I’m really loving my haircut and I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner. My scalp was peeling like a motherfucker though and I hope that’s not a sign that I’ve exacerbated my scalp eczema…

I don’t know why I didn’t start journaling sooner. I really feel like I’ve got a clearer head and a better grip on my feelings.

My blog stats are going up so I’m definitely doing something right👍🏽!

I’m really enjoying blogging these days too, I mean I’ve always loved it but lately, I get super excited. I’ve been hard at work creating new content and updating the older posts. Just wish my laptop was working optimally and not freezing as much as it is…

I nearly threw it at the wall this afternoon!

A girl is so nervous and excited at the same time. FINALLY, have a job interview and it’s tomorrow. I’m so scared of overthinking everything and completely fucking it up… but this is what I wanted though, a fresh start in a new place and a great job and it feels like things are finally looking up after having lost my phone and priorly feeling like I was running out of time.

It’s in the afternoon though; which gives me even more time to overthink, oh lawd! I prefer morning interviews because then I can just wake up, leave and get it over and done with. The last time I had a job interview was like 2 years ago I think so yeah, it’s been a while but I think your girls still got it…

Wish me good luck lol.

P.S I will finally be able to buy new undies!!!
