Got my bed stuff today then accompanied my sister to the traffic department. Man, the homelessness in Cape Town is REAL. There are literally tents outside the traffic department.
Last time we drove by the park and there were people living in tents there too. Why doesn’t the government do anything about this?
Today’s weather ain’t so great, kinda gloomy.
I’m sitting in this car hungry as fuck and getting hungrier by the minute. I should have eaten breakfast before we left… That was a bad move on my part.
Just bought the rest of my bed stuff i.e duvet inner and pillows, now I just gotta go look for a bed. I’m physically going to go to the store for one now since the online thing isn’t working out. I really did not want to do that.
Went home for a quick lunch then accompanied my sister to the dentist. My dumb ass forgot to grab a book again now I’m sitting in the car by my lonesome with not much to do. I should start keeping at least 1 book stashed in the car because I’ve really screwed myself here.
I’ve noticed I’ve been sleeping a bit too much since I got here but I feel fine so I wonder what’s up with that. No matter what time I go to bed at night, I end up sleeping for like 10 hours which is ridiculous if you ask me. I’m sure that if I go back to regularly working out then my body will start acting right and I won’t sleep so much.
Still waiting for a fridge and as much as I love takeout, it’s no way to live. I’m growing tired of eating take out every day.
P.S I miss alcohol.
