I’ve developed an obsession with real estate and through that, I discovered the show Selling Sunset. A show where you get to watch gorgeous, successful women kicking ass while selling the most stunning homes!
I LOVE real estate but somehow the thought of actually doing it for a living seems crazy to me.
Sidebar, I have a friend in this field and he has yet to invite me to a viewing…
The show Selling Sunset, follows the agents of The Oppenheim Group (founded by Jason Oppenheim), a professional real estate brokerage as they sell extravagant dreams homes and close deals on properties in the millions.
The agents of The Oppenheim Group are more than just kick-ass real estate agents and if you love houses then you should definitely watch the show on Netflix.
Why I’m Obsessed With Selling Sunset
The properties
OMG the properties that the ladies showcase and sell are crazy eautiful.
They are so extravagant and luxurious, really a dream come true.
These are the types of properties a girl dreams of owning and living in one day.
The styling of the homes
I just love how elegantly the homes are styled.
The different houses looking so classy and not to mention expensive.
Seeing rich, successful women
I find seeing women win so exhilarating and motivating; especially when they’re also black women.
The addition of Chelsea and Amanza was so exciting for me. Bringing some flavour to the series, not that the other ladies are bland.
It’s important for us women to see other women kicking ass and taking names in their fields and these ladies do it in style.
The drama
What would a really show be without a bit of DRAMA? Boring!
Some of the fights they get into are childish though and I do find myself questioning how old they are at times. We all know though, when you have that many women sharing a space; there’s bound to be at least a little bit of drama.
It makes for great television though.
The fashion
OMG have you SEEN how they dress! Their wardrobes are just ridiculously stylish.
I never knew you could sell houses worth millions in a crop top and mini skirt but hey, it works for them hahaha.
I just finished watching season 4 of the show and I’m anxiously waiting for the next season because from what I’ve seen, It’s going to be pretty interesting.

I have to say I’ve never watched it. I’ve just got too much on my watchlist to get round to making space for this.
I have not heard of this show before, but from what I read here, I can see how it could become something to really get into. I love looking at homes and decor stuff so it may be something I’d enjoy too!

I love Selling Sunset too! Everything from the drama, houses, and fashion is very intriguing to just gawk at. Sometimes, it baffles me that someone feels the need to have a bedroom the size of an average apartment!
