I’ve decided to take a new approach to life: I’m doing everything for Jesus, especially those tasks I usually dread. I know this might sound a little crazy, but hear me out…
The other day, I had to clean the fridge—one of my least favourite chores, which I usually try to pass off to someone else. At first, I was annoyed and didn’t want to do it. But then I paused and thought, “What if I did this for Jesus?”
That simple question changed everything. Suddenly, cleaning the fridge didn’t seem so bad. I made a cup of coffee, put on some music, and got to work. With a fresh attitude and a good playlist, I finished the task before I even realized it. And you know what? It wasn’t as dreadful as I expected.
The difference was all in my attitude.
Imagine if we applied the “Doing It for Jesus” approach to everything in life. How much happier would we be? How much more could we accomplish?
From my experience, shifting your perspective like this can make a massive difference. Going back to church and renewing my faith has helped me, especially in getting through the tough parts of life.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to shift my perspective and grow in my faith every day. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
What could you accomplish if you started “Doing it For Jesus”? What small change can you make today to align your actions with your faith?
I challenge you to start doing more things for Jesus.
