Moving Weird & Liberated To WordPress

After careful thought and consideration about the best move for the growth of my blog, speaking to fellow bloggers and getting advice from a good friend, in September, I made the decision to move Weird & Liberated to WordPress.

What better time to make a change than the month of Spring? The perfect time for new beginnings.

I was impressed from day 1!

Although it’s a procedure that requires a large amount of time to complete (since Wix doesn’t allow me to use the HTML option to move everything), I’m kind of enjoying it.

Initially, I was annoyed by the thought of having to move almost 300 posts, one at a time, but it’s actually not so bad. It’s given me the opportunity to revamp posts that needed some revamping anyway…

I’m really impressed by how the content on the site looks. I mean, I’ve seen WordPress blogs before and they all looked quite good. I’ve had a WordPress profile for years but I don’t know why I didn’t just blog from WordPress…

I am super stoked to see how my blog will grow. I’ve already got some engagement on the new site and I’ve finally managed to get my own domain🤗.

Here’s to moving on to bigger and better things.

WordPress has so much more to offer to help make your blog better than other blogging platfroms that I’ve used. I am 100% sure my SEO has drastically improved, thanks to WordPress.

I hope you guys will continue to support my blog on this new journey. There’s still so much more to come!

Please subscribe to new blog for updates and I’ll see you again real soon…

P.S you can still catch my blog on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Bloglovin as well as Twitter.

Laters..
