My Hopes For 2023

Hey everyone and welcome back to the blog.

Your girl is feeling inspired and optimistic with high hopes for the year ahead!

This year, I hope to become the best version of myself yet; which will require a little more selfishness on my part. I’ve already cut down on weekday drop-by visits after work in order to spend more time actually working towards my goals.

I’m hoping that this year will be different and in order for that to happen, I have to be different. I’ve already started taking active steps in order for that to happen. I want to see if they’ll make positive changes to my life.

One of the things I’ve started doing is listening to podcasts on the drive to work instead of listening to the radio or music every day.

A nice podcast I’ve recently discovered on Spotify is Productivity With Ease and so far I’m enjoying it.

Another change I’ve added this year is attending Church every Sunday and I must say, I feel absolutely amazing and I plan to keep it up all year round. Because I have to wake up for church on Sunday morning, I’ve stopped drinking heavily on Saturday nights ( I don’t even miss it).

In 2023, I hope to be happier and more positive.

The plan is to make improvements in all areas of my life.

Decided to go study marketing and I’m really excited about that. I’m hoping that this will be a a good academic year for me and I’ve already put a plan in place to make that happen.

I want to be a better daughter, sister, friend, student, blogger, employee etc. I want to play all of my roles to the best of my ability and stop settling for being mediocre because that’s not what I want for myself. The last thing I want is to live a mediocre life therefore I need to stop doing mediocre things. I must strive to be the best version of myself.

I’m looking forward to sharing this year’s blogging journey with you and hope to take this blog to new heights.

P.S let’s hope I haven’t bitten off more than I can chew hahaha.

What are your hopes for this year?

  1. I’m so glad I found your blog, and I love this goal “The plan is to make improvements in all areas of my life”. Have you bitten off more than you can chew? Maybe, but when you reach for the moon and fail, you’ve still captured the stars. One of my favorite podcasts is We Can Do Hard Things with Glennon Doyle. I’m caught up, so now I need to find another one. I will give Productivity With Ease a try.

  2. I’m glad i’m not the only one taht feels this way. I’m tired of being my mediocre self, i have awesome friends and family that i want to be there for whenever they need me or not. Good luck with marketing, i thought about it but my attention span is so tiny hah. Great blog, i’m a new follower on Twitter. Nice to meet you!
