5 Fun Night in Ideas

Nights out can be so much fun and nights in shouldn’t be any different.

We’ve been spending more nights in these days due to the Covid pandemic and sometimes we may feel bored because we’ve run out of things to do or are tired of doing the same old thing.

Don’t worry, I’ve got you!

Whether it’s a girls (or guys) night in, you and your man or just you, here are a couple of fun things you can do on your night in.

5 Fun Night In Ideas

Make it a movie night

Who doesn’t love a good movie night?

Personally, this is one of my favourite things to do (especially when the weather’s bad). If I’m at home over the weekend this is what you’ll catch me doing.
Here are a few movie suggestions for your movie night (I watched them on Netflix):

  • Split (Thriller)
  • The First Purge (horror)
  • Newness ( Romance/Drama)
  • To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (Romantic comedy)
  • Venom ( Action/ Sci-Fi) I am super excited that there’s a second one coming, huge Venom fan!
  • The Loft (thriller/mystery)
  • The Gift (Thriller)
  • Knock Knock (Thriller)

Pyjama party

Put on your onesies and cute pyjamas and have a party!

I have personally never had or attended one of these because a majority of my friends are and have been males and are not into such.

Readathon

When I get tired of staring at the screen watching movies on my nights in, I turn to books.

I find reading both fun and relaxing and it’s a great way to spend the night. When I really get into a book I don’t even notice the time going by and before I know it, it’s bedtime.

If you’re not into reading or don’t see the point; here’s why you should read.

By the way, my goal is to read 20 books so I’ve come up with an awesome TBR list for the year.

Do video tutorials

Wanna pick up a new skill or improve an existing one? A great way to do this is by watching video tutorials.

Learn how to do your own make-up, hair and so much more.

YouTube is a great place to find these. I’m going to be improving my make-up game one of these days.

Who knows, you could end up starting a new business venture with your new skills…

Make it a game night

There are so many great games you can play!

If you think that games are just for kids then you need to get rid of that mentality now. There are a number of awesome games for adults to enjoy as well.

Some examples of indoor games:

  • Scrabble (my fave)
  • Monopoly (there used to be so much cheating and stealing from the bank whenever I played this game hahaha, good times)
  • card games
  • 30 seconds
  • Twister

If there’s one thing games day/night lacks with my friends, it’s honesty…

Just because you’re indoors, doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun and enjoy yourself. I spend a lot of time at home alone and I hardly get bored. I mostly read and binge watch stuff on YouTube and Netflix and I love a good movie marathon, in fact, I think it’s time I had another one.

What do you like to do on your night in? Let me know in the comments.
