September Wrap-Up and Goal Check-In

Welcome back to the blog, and if you’re new here, what’s up?

2023 has been a whirlwind of a year and I’m still shocked by how fast it’s ending. So much has happened and there’s still so much to do before we call it a year.

Here’s what’s happened over the beautiful, springy month of September…

Nearing The End of Blogtober

It’s always fascinating to see which posts are popular each month and how sometimes the older posts do better than the new ones. I’m glad to see that my older content is still getting your attention.

Goal Check-In

Even though I’m trying Steve Harvey’s tip of writing everything I want out of life, I’m still ticking off my goals for the year as I go LOL.

They say if you truly want to get serious about reaching your goals then you should tell people about them because it’ll help keep you accountable; especially if you tell someone you think highly of because chances are you’ll care what that person thinks about you thereby motivating you to get off your ass and get shot done.

I got myself an accountability partner to help with my fitness goals and I just spoke to them the other day about what a terrible accountability partner they’ve been hahaha.

Anyway…

I haven’t shared all of my goals on the blog. I have them written down on my phone and notebook but here’s a quick rundown of how things are going:

  • I’ve somehow managed to gain weight instead of getting a 6 pack – I’m currently rectifying that
  • Took a trip to Cape Town this year
  • I went on the Cape Town City Bus Tour ( it was fucking amazing)
  • Be fit enough to run 5ks ( still working on that)
  • Workout 4 days a week – this I’ve successfully managed for the most part
  • Go hiking in Cape Town
  • Replace fog lamp covers
  • Publish 52 blog posts

I’m busy prepping for finals but will be back with fresh content soon.

In the meantime, let me know which posts you enjoyed reading on the blog and what you’re interested in seeing more of.
