Hey hey hey!
Now I know goal posts are usually done right at the beginning of the year but you know what they say, better late than never. It’s actually not late anyway lol.
My year is already off to a great start and this is the first year where I actually believe I’ll smash these goals (and then some), rather than just being optimistic.
It’s like something has shifted inside of me and opened up a whole new world of hope and possibility.
Some of these were goals set in the last year but sadly weren’t attained, some for financial reasons but this year, my financial troubles will be a thing if the past!
A Few Goals I’ve Set For 2022
Get WordPress Premium
This one is at the top pf my list!
I feel as if I need to start investing money into my blog to get it as to grow as big as I have envisioned it can be and I’m at a point where I’ll be able to set some money aside to purchase a premium WordPress subscription.
It’s a little pricey though!
Go on a road trip
I’ve been wanting to go on a road trip for SO LONG but haven’t been in a financial position that allows me to do so.
This year though, I feel confident that I’ll be able to make enough money to fund at least 1 road trip, either alone or with a friend.
Complete A Social Media Marketing Course
I feel that this one is important as it will help me to do my job better and open up more money-making opportunities.
I’ve recently started doing social media posts for a company and let me tell you, promoting blog posts on social media is a bit different from promoting an actual business.
I really need to up my game!
Reach 1000 likes on my Facebook page
I am currently sitting at 10% goal completion, so I’m getting there slowly but surely.

Be Fit Enough To Run 5kms
This year I’m determined to get fit!
I want to be able to run 5km by the end of the year and to help me do this, I’m doing the 5k challenge on the Samsung Health app. It’s a 10 week programme which will require some major commitment on my part but I’m determined.
Anyone else doing this challenge?
Get 100 Blog Subscribers
My blog views have gone way up and I want to get my subscription numbers up too.

Take Myself Out on More Dates
Your girl spends way too much time couped up in the house, it’s time to get out more and take myself out on more dates.
I plan to go see movies at the cinema more this year. It’s something I miss and really enjoy doing.
Be More Mindful
I’m practising mindfulness.
I want to be more mindful of the things I say, how I act, how I make others feel and how I can make more of a positive impact in those around me.
Reach My Body Goals
I’ve been slacking the past few years when it comes to working out and sticking to my workout schedule ( I have yet to finish a Chloe Ting challenge properly).
In order to get into tip top shape and reach my body goals (which is actually to shred a bit here and there), I’m going back to jogging and walking.
Hopefully the mean in my neighbourhood won’t be annoying lol.
Read 12 Books
This one is easily achievable if I stick to reading a minimum of 1 book a month.
“Great Reading Spots To Enjoy A Good Book”
It’s shameful to admit but I have been reading the same book since last year. I won’t even tell you how many months it’s been because it’s bad!
I’ve been so wrapped up in other things and watching series that I didn’t set enough time aside to read in the past and this year I want to change that.
I’ve already started reading more. I even read on my lunch breaks at work or when I’m waiting for my mother. It helps to always keep a book in my bag.

Move Out Of My Momma’s House (Hopefully To Another City)
I thought I’d have done this ages ago and I know they say that all things happen when it’s time BUT this year, it’s time.
Living at home at this age has not been easy. Sure it has it’s benefits but I really should be on my own. Life just keeps kicking me in the ass hahaha.
But soon it’ll happen!
I’m planning on making way way back to The Mother City.
